From BBC science presenter Mark Thompson — the beloved family science show, reimagined for grown-ups only.
For over a decade, Mark Thompson’s Spectacular Science Show has thrilled family audiences across the UK with explosions, eruptions, and jaw-dropping demonstrations. Now, the presenter behind BBC’s Stargazing Live asks a bolder question: what happens when you take the show built for children and reboot it for adults? Join Mark as he pushes the science bigger, bolder, and riskier than ever before — before the evening takes an unexpected turn, pulling back the curtain on some of science’s darkest true stories. Equal parts spectacle and story, told with Mark’s signature warmth, wit, and unmistakable curiosity, this is an evening that proves science was never just for kids.
